Lauren Alex Hooper is a Brighton based, neurodivergent blogger, advocate and singer/songwriter who performs her own unique and personal brand of alt-pop music. Today I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Write This Out’ which was released January 15th 2025.
‘Write This Out’ opens with building tones that flesh out into an impactful, synth driven melody which all act to support Hooper’s sensational vocals, her voice powerful and emotive against the rich melody. I ended up writing the actual review for this while travelling and it cut through the hours on transit and immediately gripped me from the first moment. Lauren is a truly gifted performer and lyricist who managed to captivate and help you relate to her in equal measure.
