Caroline Romano is a singer/songwriter and musician from Nashville, Tennessee who produces her own unique brand of alt-pop melodies. This isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed the artist either, and if you’re interested you can check that out by clicking here. Today, I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Tell Her I Said Hi’ which was released December 8th 2023.

‘Tell Her I Said Hi’ kicks off vocals straight away, Romano’s voice deep and soulful and just transcendently beautiful. I love performers who can produce raw and bittersweet tracks like this. I find that it’s easy to portray emotion but to portray it authentically and realistically is another matter, and Romano succeeds in giving us both. Balancing the more frenzied, passionate and angry sections with the softer, more introspective and melancholic sections adds greater depth to the track, and equally also shows multiple facets of her performing, and also the multilayered and complex feels you can have about an ex. Speaking of which, the hammering guitars and drums during the heavier, angrier sections is superb, they not only perfectly punctuate the emotional undertones of the delivery but they sound super cool, and on a technical level are amazing. As I said up top, I’ve already reviewed Romano before so I already knew that I’d really enjoy this track, but honestly this was luminous, and I cannot wait to hear more from the artist.

So that’s what I thought of Caroline Romano’s single ‘Tell Her I Said Hi’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
