Jayo is a California based singer/songwriter and musician. We’ve covered the artist before on Indie Light and you can click here to read more. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing his single ‘Not my fault’ which was released March 29th 2024.
‘not my fault’ is upbeat and energetic, and equally matched by the vocals, and as I believe I said in the previous review, Jayo has a nice and pleasing voice, which works equally well for the faster paced rap style delivery, and the softer, more melodic sections. I really liked this track, it has a nice back and forth to the beat, and while upbeat isn’t too fast paced, instead it strikes a smooth balance that results in an incredibly engaging song.
