Alo Thadeus is a German born, European musician and rap artist. We’ve covered the artist before on Indie Light and you can click here to read more. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing his single ‘A Kingdom For A Kiss’ which was released May 31st 2024.
‘A Kingdom For A Kiss’ opens with a synthy, ambient melody that reminds me of the opening chords of All Along the Watchtower, and it slowly blends out into a faster, bass and percussion driven section, with energetic rap vocals. The opening melody swells underneath at times, creating a nice solid harmony between the two elements. I really like Alo’s vocals, it works really well, the accent, the pleasant tones of his voice, and the playful energetic style of his delivery all come together to make a really engaging song.
