Lillian Grace is a singer/songwriter and musician based in Nashville, Tennessee who explores topics related to mental health and life struggles through her music. Today I’ll be reviewing her single ‘The Rest’ which was released September 15th 2023.

‘The Rest’ opens with delicate and pure building piano chords that blend into Grace’s devastatingly powerful and beautiful vocals. The melody fleshes out as the track continues, deeper bass and percussive elements broaden the audio texture and create a really rich and vibrant track, but the true standout remains Grace’s voice which is just sensational. This track has a style and energy somewhere between a Gothic anthem and a sick rap beat, just the heavy, deep and dark rhythm and the striking vocals all create something truly amazing.
