Lozeak is the performing name of Lauren Eakins, an alt-pop singer/songwriter and musician from Norwich. Today, I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Moist’ which was released April 24th 2024.
‘Moist’ kicks in fast, a blend of synthy vocals, leading into a fast and bouncy, percussive and bass driven melody, which works perfectly with Lozeak’s vocals. Her delivery is fast and a nice staccato rhythm which works really well with the energy and style of the beat. Lozeak is an engaging and fun performer who makes you pay attention. It’s also just a really catchy song. The right balance of a strong hook, chorus, beat and tempo that all combine for a really strong track, that will for sure have me keeping an eye out for the performer in the future.
