Jayo is a singer/songwriter and musician from Los Angeles, California. Today I’ll be reviewing his single ‘worst case scenario’ which was released October 20th 2023.
‘worst case scenario’ kicks off with a light percussive fills and a countdown before flowing into the busy and high energy hook that caught me when I first heard it on Instagram and decided to review it. It’s for sure a catchy track but that’s not its only strength. Jayo has a really nice voice, equally balanced for the more melodic sections and the faster, rhythmic sections. Overall it’s just a really awesome track and I have had it on repeat because it just works, he blends the overall sadness of the lyrics with a warmth and vibrancy to his performance as well as the beat which just make for something truly special.
