Indie Light

Ingrid Michaelson is a New York based singer/songwriter, musician and composer who produces her own unique brand of music which blends elements of indie, folk and pop. Today I’ll be reviewing her single ‘It Never Ends’ which was released May 30th 2024.

‘It Never Ends’ opens with delicate piano chords, blending with harmonious vocals, the track has an almost dream-like quality to it, soft and almost ambient, but for the truly sensational singing by Ingrid, her voice soulful and emotive and capable of resonating deeply somewhere inside you. I’ll admit I had to listen to this one a few times while writing this review because I just got lost in her performance. Her voice and the instrumental backing just create a sensational and complex melody that just absolutely blew me away.
