Bhad Bhabie is the performing name of Danielle Bregoli, an American rapper, influencer and philanthropist. We’ve had the extreme pleasure to have covered Bhabie several times before on Indie Light, and you can click here to check that out. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Overcooked’ which was released January 27th 2025. 

‘Overcooked’ opens big, heavy synthy bass tones and light percussive fills blend together to create a really vibrant and dense beat. And Bhabie is on top form, I’ve continually been a fan of her vocals and her lyrics but this is superb. You feel her attitude, and it somehow manages to be both playful and cathartic. I really need to commend Bhabie for continuing to develop as a performer, she has a voice that’s both melodic enough to be pleasant to listen to, with enough bite and edge to make her more savage lines work.
