Jill Marie Cooper is a singer/songwriter and musician from London. She first came to prominence after appearing on The Voice UK but has since positively exploded. Today I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Closure’ which was released May 17th 2024.

‘Closure’ kicks off fast, and less than five seconds in I’m blown away by Cooper’s vocal talents, her voice is strong and deep, and you could fall into it, as she hits those high notes I actually got goosebumps. This is an absolutely sensational song, and an excellent introduction to the artist. The instrumentals are solid, the percussion adding in texture and the strings shaping the melody further, but honestly they fall to the wayside when Cooper sings because she absolutely dominates the track with her talent and passion and intensity.
