Danielle Bregoli, more commonly known professionally as Bhad Bhabie is an American rap artist, internet personality and philanthropist. We’ve had the incredible pleasure of reviewing her discography to date on Indie Light, and you can click here if you want to check that out for yourself. Today, I’ll be reviewing her first solo single in approximately three years, ‘Mommy Mode’ which was released December 20th 2024.

‘Mommy Mode’ has Bhabie’s trademark no holds barred attitude in spades, and a really tight lyrical structure that flows really well. I’ve said before that I personally feel Bhabie has a really strong voice, and with each release she’s developed her own personal style and brand further. It’s been such a unique experience following her musical journey. I especially liked this track because it ties things together. It’s obviously a very personal release, it shows her issues, the trolls and relentless viral negativity she’s faced, but also how she’s done with all the haters and users, in particular I liked the line “Bitches used to have my back but now I’m packin’ them up” which is clever and really shows where she’s at. It’s good to see her turning a corner, and refocusing on her life, her family and her bliss, because as she says in this track “Fuck it, turn the camera off, look at me, I earned this all”. And It’s true, her route to her initial fame might have been unconventional but she’s worked hard for everything she’s got, and now that she has security and money she’s making sure to enjoy it regardless of what other people say. I for one applaud her and hope she continues to look after herself and her family, and all I’ll add is that I hope there’s still more music on the horizon.

So that’s what I thought of Bhad Bhabie’s single ‘Mommy Mode’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and show support for the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Bhabie also has an Onlyfans account, which you can check out here if that’s something that interests you.
