Sabrina Carpenter is an amazingly talented singer/songwriter and musician. She’s had numerous successful releases since releasing her debut single ‘Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying’ back in March 2014. Her most recent releases however are among her most commercially successful, and came after her opening for Taylor Swift at her Eras Tour. We’ve had the pleasure of reviewing Sabrina before on Indie Light and you can click here to read more. Today, I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Espresso’ which was released April 11th 2024.

‘Espresso’ kicks off with a vibrant, energetic melody, and Carpenter’s vocals merge in, her voice light and bright, keeping with the momentum and vibe of the track. I’m fairly familiar with the artist, and we’ve even reviewed her before on the site, but I’ve really enjoyed tackling her recent releases, as she’s continued to evolve as a performer, and this track is just the perfect balance of bright melody and flawless vocals. Overall for me it has an almost dream-like quality, something about the cadence of the vocals especially really sells that for me. The whole vibe for the song really works, and even after hearing the chorus looped endlessly on socials over the past couple of months I still really like the song.

So that’s what I thought of Sabrina Carpenter’s Single ‘Espresso’ and if you’re interested in checking that out then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
