Jamie Cook is a singer/songwriter and musician based in Brighton. I came across the artist recently on Instagram and decided to get a jump on talking about someone so crazy talented. Today I’ll be reviewing his single ‘It Started With A Kiss’ which was released May 10th 2024.
‘It Started With A Kiss’ opens with a rich, energetic acoustic guitar that blends into the vocals, and man does Jamie have a sensational voice, melodic and powerful, he hits the high notes without losing control and overall his performance is just superb. This track has a nice energy, a strong forward momentum that adds to the overall track. This was my first exposure to the artist and immediately I’m a fan because he’s managed to create a track that’s the perfect balance of energy and melodic delivery, strong guitars and percussion and even stronger vocals.
