On a recent trip to Chester, we were fortunate enough to be able to visit the Chester Market, a fantastic indoor facility which hosts a variety of businesses, including a wide range of international foods. However the absolute highlight of the market, in my opinion, was our visit to The Crystal Hut.

Firstly, the manager, Alex was an absolute delight; kind, courteous and helpful. But also, knowledgeable about the history of the business, and the products on offer. This was particularly important because of the type of products that The Crystal Hut sell.

You see they cater to people in tune with the spirits, those who believe, or are interested in finding out more about the powerful forces at work in nature and inside us all.

In fact, our contributor, Tori B Bearly, and their mother are practicing witches, with Lilian having accumulated over 20 years as a member of the spiritual/pagan witch community. We’ve all shopped in similar businesses before which were seeking to capitalise on this genuine belief like its some sort of niche interest like coin collecting, or some fashion statement. However, over the years, I’d like to think I’ve developed a good intuition for when someone is honest and believes what they are saying, compared to someone just trying to turn a profit, and rest assured I felt Alex’s genuine belief in the items he sold and the craft itself.

So that’s why I thought I’d write a promo post about The Crystal Hut because it is a truly superb business which has a wide range of items available for someone who is engaged in spiritual pursuits.

As the name might suggest, they’ve got a solid mix of crystals and stones, including some massive geode crystal structures which are very impressive. What I like most though, is that they come with accompanying notes to help guide your purchase. Sure sometimes it can be good just to pick a crystal or rock that you like, for example I’m partial to Jasper or Tiger’s Eye, or even just closing your eyes and letting the crystal or rock pick you. But if you’re having specific difficulties or have specific needs, then having this to help you find your totem is incredible helpful.

Cleansing rooms, purifying aromas, and the power and intention of a burning candle are all critical elements to a practicing witch, and The Crystal Hut has you covered with plenty of sage, incense and candles for all your needs.

In important part of a practicing witch’s tool kit are methods of divining the future, and The Crystal Hut has you covered there as well.

The future is not always clear, nor is it always what you’d like, perhaps it might even spark some bad dreams, if that’s the case The Crystal Hut has a range of dream catchers, for snagging nightmares in its web to ensure you sleep soundly.

I tried in my little photo tour above to give you a solid cross-section of what The Crystal Hut offer, without spoiling it totally for you.
