Robert Grace is an Irish singer/songwriter and musician from County Kilkenny who produces his own unique brand of pop/soft rock music. He has absolutely exploded on social media, particularly on TikTok where I first came across the artist. Today, I’ll be reviewing his single ‘Fake Fine’ which was released June 12th 2020.

‘Fake Fine’ opens with vibrant acoustic guitar, and light percussion that flows into the vocals, and Grace has an incredible voice, energetic and emphatic, light and yet powerful. I already knew going in that I like his style, but this confirms it. I like the counterpoint between the more melodic delivery, and the faster paced, staccato, rap style delivery. He’s obviously a very talented vocalist, and overall the song flows really well, with the right energy and emphasis. As someone with their own struggles with mental health this track really resonates with me, you really feel Grace’s struggles and they come across in this refreshingly honest and catchy release.

So that’s what I thought of Robert Grace’s single ‘Fake Fine’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
