So I had the good pleasure to meet Moss, the Glasgow based artist behind Script Kitty Sketch while supporting Tori B Bearly at a Comic Con event in Kilmacolm earlier this month.

I was immediately enamoured with their style, and the diverse nature of their portfolio. I seriously love that I get to spotlight such talented creators. If I had to pin down Moss’s particular style, I’d say it’s cute meets macabre, with a heaping helping of that LGBT+ stuff that you know we love here on Indie Light.

So Moss sells a little bit of everything, such as Stickers, which include my personal favourite, the Pride Rats which are not only a really unique idea but also they just look so fancy. Plus they go through a big spectrum of gender and sexual identities, so you’re guaranteed to find a fancy rat that fits you. I’m also really vibing with these Seagull stickers, he’s obviously a very hardworking gentleman.

They also sell a variety of Prints, the 3D skull print is awesome, I love the balance of the foreboding skull and the pastel colours and flowers around the image. It juxtaposes nicely. I’ve been trying not to add too much to my To Buy list cause I’m strapped for cash at the moment but I think I’ll snag one of these in the New Year. I mentioned a slightly macabre or spooky side to Moss’s art, and the ghost set is just to die for, sorry bad joke over. On a more serious note, I love the colour variety and yet the consistency of the ghost design. Moss is clearly so talented.

Tori more so than I, but we’re big Pin and badge collectors, and Moss has us covered, with a really cool mix, including an awesome little froggy and a definitely not poisonous mushroom. Go ahead, have a bite…I’ll wait. Seriously though, and sorry to keep taking a moment for goofs, blame day three of a serious head cold for me being a bit silly.

What’s not silly though is the honestly superb mixture of art and products available on Script Kitty Sketch. You can follow the links above for the specific products I highlighted or click here to go to their store. You can also click here to see their portfolio. Also make sure and show support for the artist and keep up to date with their latest exploits by following them on Facebook and Instagram.
