Indie Light

Princess Frenxh is a social media influencer, brand ambassador and multilingual musician who blends in her cultural background into her own unique brand of music. I first came across them a few weeks ago when I began tweaking my Instagram algorithm after rebranding my site. I was aiming to get new and exciting music and content on my feed and the algorithm gods provided, by sending me, amongst others creators, the charming and sensational Princess Frenxh. I’ve had the pleasure of covering the artist before on Indie Light, and you can click here to read more. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing her single ‘This Christmas’ which was released December 8th 2023.

‘This Christmas’ opens with funky Christmas bells blending into some dreamy vocals by Princess Frenxh. Her voice was a richness and depth that works really well for this holiday tinged track. The percussive track especially really works, vibrant and light enough, blending perfectly well with the ringing bell tones and Frenxh’s voice, which is just spectacular. I like that she manages melodic softer delivery and faster hip hop infused styles as well. I understand that she’s only recently began venturing into the music industry but she has a genuine talent, a voice that’s got star power and is easily worth listening to, and this holiday single is a strong contribution that I wholeheartedly recommend to you all today. Honestly I’m so excited to see where they go from here because this was polished, well produced, well performed and just incredibly engaging.
