JESSIA is a Canadian singer/songwriter and musician who produces her own brand of emotional pop music. Today I’ll be reviewing her single ‘One Before The One’ which was released December 8th 2023.
‘One Before The One’ opens with light strings that flow into JESSIA’s powerful vocals, her voice rich and smoky and emotive, you just feel the intensity and passion behind her delivery. I knew less than a minute in, two facts, that I was going to love this song, and that i’d be listening to it, and other tracks from the artist in the near future. She’s spectacular, her song just grabs you and refuses to let up. I feel like music should be impactful, whether it makes you laugh or cry or think, and JESSIA makes music that has meaning, that is emotionally impactful and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to get the chance to hear it.
