Gallipoli are an indie folk duo from Los Angeles, California, made up of Aman Sheriff and Lucas McCone, who together, craft melancholic and atmospheric melodies. Today, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘St. Clements’ which was released October 13th 2023.

‘St. Clements’ builds slowly, gently flowing ambient chords growing and flowing into pure and melodic vocals, the track gains a little more energy and vibrancy as the guitar fully integrate into the core track, creating a rich, bittersweet and touching tune that just fills you up. It has a cinematic quality to it, you feel the sincerity and spark flowing throughout this track and just fall in love with it bit by bit. As with a few artists I’ve reviewed recently, I hadn’t heard of Gallipoli prior to my newly tweaked Instagram algorithm giving me their account as an early Christmas gift but I’m so glad this powerful and poignant track popped up on my feed because I’m immensely grateful for the opportunity to hear and review such talented and emotion inducing musicians.

So that’s what I thought of Gallipoli’s single ‘St. Clements’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and show support for the band by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
