SKYLAR is an English singer/songwriter and musician who I came across earlier last month while trying to improve my algorithm by interacting with and engaging with new music. I was fortunate enough to be treated to a few different videos by SKYLAR such as this one on Instagram that convinced me to check out their music properly and without spoiling the content ahead I’m really glad I did. Speaking of which, today I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Classy Lady’ which was released September 15th 2023. 

‘Classy Lady’ opens fast, striking chords and you’re immediately hit by SKYLAR’s vocals, her voice bright and energetic and brimming with passion and personality, you’re swept away, the horns and synthy sounds all blending together to create a frenzied and engaging performance that sticks in your head for days after you first hear it. I really like her vocal performance, her accent adds to it, but you also just feel her charm bleed through, and the high energy instrumental backing really works together to create something that’s definitely worth checking out. I’ll be reviewing more by the artist in the near future so keep an eye out for that, but more important if you haven’t already go and check out more my SKYLAR because you won’t regret it.
