Bhad Bhabie is the pseudonym and performing name of American rap artist and internet personality, Danielle Bregoli, a native of Boynton Beach, Florida. We’ve covered Bhabie before on Indie Light, and if you’re interested you can click here to read more.

Today I want to talk about her single ‘Millions’ which interestingly enough was released exclusively to LimeWire. You might be familiar with LimeWire already, as the peer-to-peer sharing platform which was a part of the early internet piracy movement, being active from early 2000 until mid 2011 when legal proceedings against the creator Mark Gorton forced it’s official dissolution. You may also be interested to know that the version that exists today is in name only, as it was revived as an unrelated music-based NFT platform in 2022, with Bhabie’s music, alongside other artists, being featured exclusively on the platform. Speaking of which Bhabie’s track was officially released on the platform June 22nd 2023.

‘Millions’ opens with sharp percussive beats, melding into a synth driven melody and then Bhabie explodes forward. I’ve always liked her rapping, and you feel her passion and intensity throughout, her flow is strong, and the whole thing just powers forward. I’ve often heard people criticise rappers and Bhabie for bragging, but if you’ve managed to get everything you’ve ever wanted, wouldn’t you be shouting it from the rooftops? Or at least writing and performing a superb rap track about it. But that being said, I’ve listened to most of Bhabie’s music at this point, and it’s not bad! It’s not a vanity project or someone already famous using their clout to get into an already oversaturated industry, it’s someone with genuine talent, skill and ability, an obvious appreciation for the genre creating tight, entertaining and well-flowing rap. I look forward to hearing more from Bhabie because she continues to go from strength to strength, both in terms of her lyrical competency, as well as her vocal skills which have also continued to get better with each release. In the end, if Bhabie’s music isn’t for you, then it isn’t for you, but it’s not bad by any means, in fact as I hope I’ve made clear it’s really good, especially for someone for whom rapping isn’t their only focus. You feel the flair and the personality of the artist, she tells a story and creates something that I think is worth listening to.

So that’s what I thought of Bhad Bhabie’s single ‘Millions’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to LimeWire. While you’re at it, make sure and show support for the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Bhabie has also recently started an Onlyfans account, which you can check out here if that’s something that interests you.
