Aimee Carty is a 20-year-old singer/songwriter and musician from Ireland. Today I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Painter’ which was released August 25th 2023.
‘Painter’ opens with Aimee’s sharp and powerful voice, it fills up the space and you just get swept away as her vocal performance paints a beautiful picture in your mind’s eye. I’ve come back to my site after a hiatus and a spot of bad mental health, but honestly hearing sheer talent and beauty and passion like this reminds me why I love running this site and getting the opportunity to listen to all these talented musicians. Aimee’s track is just perfect, not too fast, not too slow, just a bittersweet melancholy that fills up your heart and leaves you feeling uplifted and changed at the end.
