Sunsetto is the performing name of Kyle Mischiek, a Toronto based singer/songwriter and musician. He produces some truly fine music, which crosses a variety of genres. Today, I’ll be reviewing his single ‘Drugs are for Fun’ which was released July 29th 2022.
‘Drugs are for Fun’ opens with a synth driven melody, very sonorous with a nice ambient quality, that blends really well with his softer toned vocals. Speaking of which, can I just say I love his voice, it has a really nice cadence to it and he’s got some real talent. The percussive beats also worked really well for this track, it adds a little texture to the melody which otherwise could be a bit floaty, which isn’t a bad thing to be fair, but the percussive beats still add something nice to the performance. I haven’t previously heard of Sunsetto, but I really liked this track, and I strongly suggest you check him out because I for sure will be keeping my eye out for him in the future.
So that’s what I thought of Sunsetto’s single ‘Drugs are for Fun’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
