The Eves are an Edinburgh based pop duo made up Caroline Gilmour and Marissa Keltie. Today, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Big Love’ which was released April 1st 2022.

‘Big Love’ opens with a sonorous and reverbed build that flows into a heavy bassline which perfectly supports the vocalist. They have rich and engaging voices that really catch you as a listener. I like the balance between the heavier, chorus sections with more energy and percussive notes, and the slower, softer sides. It really made the track work for me. The vocalist works so well together, layering and adding to one another perfectly. This is my first time reviewing The Eves but I will be keeping an eye out for them in the future.
