Cloe Wilder is a sensationally talented singer/songwriter and musician from Clearwater, Florida. If you’re interested in finding out more about Wilder, then you can click here to read my interview. We’ve covered the artist before on Indie Light, and you can click here to read more. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing her single ‘We’re Not Special’ which was released February 22nd 2022.

‘We’re Not Special’ kicks off with gentle, strumming, acoustic guitars which just kind of carry you across almost dreamily, until you are met with Wilder’s voice, which just fills you up. She has a genuine gift, and each song I hear from her is a product of increasing talent, experience and growth as an artist. This song is rich, melodic and a little bit sad and it just really works. I understand Cloe has an album in the works, due out in the near future, and I am more excited to hear it than ever because this track is just wonderful and touching in a way that not every song is.

So that’s what I thought of Cloe Wilder’s single ‘We’re Not Special’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by visiting their website.
