Ana Pac is a singer/songwriter, musician, dancer and actor. She’s originally from Montreal but has recently relocated to Toronto. If you’re interested in finding out a little bit more about Ana I was fortunate enough to interview her, and you can check that out by clicking here. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Blast Off (Light Years and Beyond)’ which was released November 12th 2021.
‘Blast Off (Light Years and Beyond)’ has a heavy bass filled intro that builds, layering in percussion as Ana’s voice joins in. Her vocals are tremendous, light and almost playful without feeling fleeting or ephemeral. This is one of those tracks that just gets stuck in your head, it’s catchy and offbeat, with a nice blend of heavier percussion and beat driven sections, mixed with slower more even tempo parts. This was my first time I heard Pac but I’ll for sure be keeping my eye out for them in the future if this is the type of thing they are capable of producing.
So that’s what I thought of Ana Pac’s single ‘Blast Off (Light Years and Beyond)’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
