Myla Vie is a singer/songwriter and musician from Essex, and if you’d like to find out a little bit more about the artist then you can click here to check out my interview. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘The Game’ which was released January 28th 2022.

‘The Game’ opens with ambient, atmospheric tones that flow into a bass driven percussive beat that perfectly supports Myla’s soulful and melodic voice. You just have to let her vocals wash over you, and just take you on a journey. You can feel a subtle synth note incorporated throughout but the overall melody is fairly simple, all the better not to take away from Myla’s sensational singing which truly captivated me from the first moment. Bonus points, but I really liked the hook, it was catchy and really helped to keep this track in the back of my head till I sat down to write this review.
