Tyler Posey is you’re unfamiliar is an actor, singer/songwriter and musician from Santa Monica, California. He’s probably most well known for his role as Scott McCall on the MTV series, Teen Wolf. As well as acting, Posey has also pursued his passion for music, having performed in bands such as Lost in Kostko, PVMNTS and most recently Five North. We’ve actually covered Posey a few times on Indie Light, and you can click here to read more. Today, I’ll be talking about his solo career, specifically I’ll be reviewing his single ‘Past Life’ which was released July 16th 2021.

‘Past Life’ opens with light, energetic percussive, and a hammering of strings, which support Posey’s vocals, and after reviewing several tracks by him now, I’m just really vibing with his voice. He has such a perfect pop punk voice, the right balance of passion and ferocity, melody and edge, refrain and abandon. It’s just a great track, catchy, and distinct. Tyler as a solo artist, has really found voice and I’m eager for what he does next.

So that’s what I thought of Tyler Posey’s single ‘Past Life’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
