Tyler Posey is an American actor, singer/songwriter and musician, noted for his role as Scott McCall on the MTV series, Teen Wolf. We’ve eagerly covered Posey on the platform before, and you can click here to read more. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing his single ‘Happy’ which was released June 11th 2021.
‘Happy’ opens with a floating, ambient synth tone that builds, and then is replaced with an explosive guitar and percussion infused melody, and again I am impressed with the depth and range of his vocals. It is superb for this type of music, and you feel the strain and depth of his delivery, it all comes across the intensity and the intent all just bleed right through. I like to be positive when doing reviews, I don’t lie or obscure faults, but overall I tend to write on a positive note but seriously this track was perfect. I could easily see this rotating into my regular listens, because its so pure and passionate with a nice high energy driving instrumental base.
