KEANA is a synth pop singer/songwriter and musician from Los Angeles, California. Today I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Lilac’ which was released October 20th 2020.
‘Lilac’ opens with building and overlapping synthy trilling notes that flow perfectly into KEANA’s vocals, her voice, bright and airy and with a dreamlike quality that just draws you in from the get go. It has a curious energy to it, not quite fast, not quite slow, just a very even tempo, with highs and lows throughout to add some complexity and diversity to the overall melody. This is a song to get lost in, and I urge you to come get lost with me.
