Beth Macari is a Newcastle based singer/songwriter and musician who performs her own unique brand of soul music. This isn’t the first time I’ve covered the artist on the site either, and you can click here to read more. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Love You More’ which was released July 30th 2021.
‘Love You More’ opens with a smooth, melodic intro, light percussive adding to the rich, sultry tones of Macari. This song has such an easy going energy, and you are just captivated from the moment that Beth starts singing. I like the vocal harmonies throughout, they enhance an already good song. I love music like this, because objectively it’s a simple enough tune, but you are just caught up in the performance and the passion and soul of the singer. This is not a track to be listened to just once, and I urge you to check it out now.
