Leo is an 18-year-old singer/songwriter and musician, originally from Portugal, he is currently based in the UK. Today I’ll be reviewing his single ‘Heartbreak’ which was released April 30th 2021.
‘Heartbreak’ opens on slowly, but building piano chords, over Leo’s wonderfully melodic vocals. Leo’s username on social media is @Leoindreamland, and the tonal quality of this track, the ambient, warm and comforting melody and the powerful Disney prince like style of his voice really make me think of a safe, lovely dreamscape. I can imagine people dancing in an elaborate ball room to his amazingly sensitive and soft voice. I say soft, but he has power to his voice as well and around the midpoint in the track he begins to show just a little of that. I’ll admit I fell in love with this track from the first second, I just let it take me away from everything for four minutes and 43 seconds and I’m fortunate that I came across his track randomly on Instagram.
