Addison Grace is a fantastically talented singer/songwriter and musician from Salt Lake City, Utah. I first came across the Addison thanks to Tori B Bearly, so I have them to thank for finding such an amazing artist. If you’d like to find out a little bit more about Addison Grace, you can check out this interview we did with them a while back. Also this isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed the artist either, and you can click here to read more. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Sugar Rush’ which was released August 25th 2020.

‘Sugar Rush’ opens with some vibrant strings, sweet and melodic, but not quite a sugar rush yet, joking aside it’s a smooth, ambient intro that’s light and effervescent but not forgettable. Addison’s voice has a depth and originality to it that means they could sing anything and it’d sound good. I loved the balance between the slower, more melancholic parts and the more high energy parts, they created a nice counterpoint in what has turned out to be a wonderfully engaging track.

So that’s what I thought of Addison Grace’s single ‘Sugar Rush’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. If you want to support the artist then you can follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, visit their website and of course visit their Tik Tok.
