The SoapGirls are a raw Rock ‘n’ Roll duo made up of sisters Bassist and Vocalist Camille Debray and Guitarist and Vocalist Noemie Debray. They are originally from Paris, but grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. If you are interested in finding out more about The SoapGirls then you can check out this interview I did with them here. Speaking of which, this isn’t the first time we’ve covered The SoapGirls on Indie Light, and you can click here to read more. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Heart in Bloom’ which was released December 18th 2020.

‘Heart in Bloom’ kicks off fast, a high energy string and drum combo bursts off immediately, merging with sharp, engaging vocals and building to a wonderful harmony between both the sisters and the instruments. The SoapGirls have tremendous vocal skills, and are deeply passionate about their music, this comes across in every note, they manage to push themselves with each new release and this is a true triumph, a wonderfully rich melody, that drives fast and hard, combined with their powerful voices, the result is a track I will not forget.

So that’s what I thought of The SoapGirls single ‘Heart in Bloom’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. While you’re at it, make sure and support the band by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or by visiting their website.
