IRIS is a singer/songwriter and musician, originally from New Jersey, but now based in Los Angeles. Today I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Them’ which was released December 16th 2020.
‘Them’ opens with a light intro, that has a faster, charged percussive beat underneath some whispery tones, both flow and blend with IRIS’s phenomenal vocals, honestly, her voice is rich and powerful, and could knock you flat. As the track progresses, the initial melody builds somewhat, adding in synthy chimes and a more rhythmic beat, all adding and supporting the breathtaking vocals, which pick up as the track becomes faster and more melodically complex.
