Malo is a Danish singer/songwriter, based in Copenhagen whose music was recently featured in the Netflix movie, ‘365 Days’. Today I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Bad Johnny’ which was released December 11th 2020.

‘Bad Johnny’ opens with a bouncy percussive beat, that blends really well with Malo’s melodic, synthy vocals. This has a really nice rhythm to it, that sticks in your mind, and has you thinking about it for days afterwards. I particularly liked the hook in the chorus which really worked for me, and added to the whole catchy feel of the track.
