DYLYN is a singer/songwriter from Toronto, the capital city of the province of Ontario in Canada, who considers themselves to be a rocker girl at heart, and is also a fellow Trekkie as well. Today, I will be reviewing her single ‘Only Us’ which was released on November 26th 2020.
‘Only Us’ opens with a soft, melodic piano intro, that supports her strong, emotive vocals which has a vibrant, atmospheric quality. This track is well balanced in regards to pacing, because the actual vocal delivery is relatively slow, like a ballad, but the music, largely throughout, is faster, adding more energy and intensity. All together this is a fantastic track, that just kind of sweeps you away, and I for one am eager for more.
