Low Float is the performing name Gabe O’Brien-Szczesniak, a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Kitchener, Ontario. Today I’ll be reviewing his single ‘Here Before’ which features a collaboration with JEEN and is off his album ‘For Your Dreams’ which was released September 18th 2020.

‘Here Before (ft. JEEN)’ has a heavy bassline that leads right into the deep but melodic vocals of Low Float, which merge perfectly with the lighter vocals of JEEN. I like the counterpoint of the music to the vocals, there’s a nice balance where they either challenge one another or support each other, it makes for something incredibly engaging to listen to.
