Erection are a four piece, power punk group from Regensburg in Southeast Germany. Today I will be reviewing their single ‘Fuck You’ which was released May 5th 2020.

‘Fuck You’ kicks off hard and fast with the eponymous line spoken right away, you feel the passion and intensity delivered by the group vocals. I liked the instrumental backing, it supports the vocals perfectly and kicks up a notch with a nice little flair at the end of the opening section. It’s super catchy and quirky but it doesn’t lose the powerful message at its core. The song itself just has a lot of energy and you might find yourself singing it while you’re out and about, so be careful not to tell the cashier at your local shop to ‘Fuck You’.
