Lily Marie Antonini (also known as Lil-E and STAR) is a bilingual singer/songwriter and musician. She’s also a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and you can click here to check out some other artists I’ve reviewed who also come from that alma mater. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Follow the Sunshine’ which is off her album ‘Talent’, which was released April 5th 2020.

‘Follow the Sunshine’ starts off slowly with the gentle a cappella harmonies between Lily and the other vocalist. The melody is relatively simple but it sticks in your head and honestly it just really hit me hard, something about it just resonated really strongly with me. Also it’s clear from just this track that Lily is a tremendous vocalist, her voice is strong and she handles slower more emotional parts with genuine depth and grace. I like the lighter a cappella backing because it allows her voice to shine through clearly, and in multiple ways. If this is the quality of the artist then I will keep an eye out for them in the future.
