SPIRITBOX are a five piece alternative/indie outfit from The Netherlands, and this isn’t my first time reviewing the band either, you can click here to check that out for yourself. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘A Strange Loss’ which was released September 25th 2020.
‘A Strange Loss’ opens with a rising and heavy backing tune, counterpointed by light piano keys it eases us in well and the vocals rise up, clear and profound, I liked the balance between the male and female vocals, I think they worked well together and both brought specific things to the track. As I’ve mentioned before when reviewing these tracks, they blend heavy and dark with light really well, the result is a track that’s just amazing.
