The Samoors are a Tel Aviv based three piece new wave/indie outfit, made up of Yuval Simcha on Guitars/Vocals, Andie Simcha on Synth/Melodica/Vibraslap/Backing Vocals and Erez Oppenheim on Drums/Backing Vocals. This isn’t the only time we’ve covered The Samoors on Indie Light, and you can click here to read more. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Altogether’ which was released August 1st 2020.

‘Altogether’ opens with the clacking together of drumsticks, which is a musical thing I really wish more bands did, for some reason I’ve always enjoyed it. After that the track begins in earnest with some tight guitars, that flow really well with the strong, harmonious vocals. I loved the beat of this one, something you can hop your head along to certainly. This is the third track I’ve reviewed by the band I can easily see a bright future for them because while remaining at its core fairly uncomplicated it’s an incredibly powerful song.

So that’s what I thought of The Samoors single ‘Altogether’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook and Instagram.
