Stewart Bryden is a singer-songwriter from Ayrshire who has been performing in various outfits for over 15 years. Today I will be reviewing their single ‘The Beaten Track’ which was released February 2nd 2020.
‘The Beaten Track’ kicks off with a light acoustic guitar, smooth and soothing, that merges perfectly with Bryden’s gentle, uplifting and yet profoundly powerful voice. I’ll admit that after taking a brief break from Indie Light this is the first track I’ve reviewed in a while, and I’m glad this one was the first cause it reminded me in just the opening notes why I enjoy doing it so much. I especially liked that without losing the softer notes, it manages to pick up in pace and tempo, the percussion added a heavier edge and it all blended to make a truly engaging and memorable song.
So that’s what of Stewart Bryden’s track ‘The Beaten Track’ and if you want to check that out then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
