Lisa Kowalski is a Scottish singer/songwriter and musician from Paisley, and if you’re interested in finding out a little bit more about the artist then click here to read my interview with her. Also this isn’t the only time I’ve covered the artist on Indie Light, and you can click here to read more. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing her track ‘No More Time’ which talks about a particularly difficult time in the artist’s life, which resulted in her taking a well deserved mental health break. She released the track January 31st 2020.
‘No More Time’ hammers forward, a heavier melody up front that gives way to Lisa’s beautiful vocals, and you just get swept away in the intensity of the music. It was not at all what I was expecting but it really works, and perhaps because it subverted by expectations I took more notice, I didn’t just let the track wash over me as I am sometimes prone to do, instead I really experienced the full track and I was truly wowed by Lisa’s song writing ability just as much as her strong and melodic vocals.
So that’s what I thought of Lisa Kowalski’s single ‘No More Time’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
