Nowujalo is a Native American melodic hip-hop artist from Regina, the capital city of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Today, I will be reviewing his single ‘Move Out My Way’ which was released March 14th 2020.
‘Move Out My Way’ opens with a distinct vocal beat that flows through the track, beneath the strong hip hop influenced vocals of the artists. He has a hard delivery that really adds some fire to the track, and from the moment the track kicked in, he’s provided an excellent forward drive and energy that has made for a really appealing song. It’s not all furiously driving forward however, instead it has nice peaks and falls, slower points that act as a nice counterpoint. Also like other rap and hip-hop artists I’ve reviewed, Nowujalo is far more of a melodic rapper than a mumble rapper, so you can actually hear and feel the flow of his lyrics. Lastly, and this is meant as a compliment, I could totally see this being a track in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which was noted for among other things, its soundtrack.
So that’s what I thought of Nowujalo’s single ‘Move Out My Way’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the artist by following them on Twitter and Instagram.
