Nax are an dreamy, psychedelic rock outfit from Buenos Aires, Argentina made up of Nicolás Castello, Juan Marcos Hernández and Gabriel Hernández. This isn’t my only time reviewing the band either, and you can click here to read more. Today though I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Ángeles De Hielo’ which was released December 7th 2019.
‘Ángeles De Hielo’ opens with a vibrant, atmospheric theme that swells, even as percussion and guitars are placed over it. It has a nice, resonant quality that just washes back and forth over the listener. The vocals have a distinct dream like quality, that merges perfectly with the backing instrumentals. The result is this profoundly complex combination of noises that blend to create a rich musical experience.
