BodyLanguage are a Boston based musical duo whose sound spans several genres. Today I’ll be reviewing their single ‘Aged Like Wine’ which was released April 24th 2020.
‘Aged Like Wine’ opens with an ambient, acoustic guitar that flows forward, joining it is an incredible voice, and then a second, their harmony rich and well practiced. The light percussion brilliantly backing up their voice, then both increase in intensity making for an even more impressive musical experience. I can’t decide actually whether I prefer the vocals with or without the heavier backdrop because on its own they get a chance to really stand-out but with the heavier drums and strings behind them it creates a more complex sound. Either way I’m glad I decided to review this track because it was bloody brilliant.
