Wayne McFarlane is a singer-songwriter from Wallsend, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Today I’ll be reviewing his single ‘Nothing Like You’ which was released October 4th 2019.
‘Nothing Like You’ has a very vibrant, piano led intro that just soothes your soul, I found myself slipping into the cadence of the track almost instantly, and McFarlane’s voice is powerful and works perfectly with this, just flowing through you. What I liked most is that this one grips you from the first time you hear it but, upon repeat listening it only gets more complex and gets better. I also like that it’s high energy but not fast, it takes it’s time and makes the point clearly, hits all the right notes and to be honest just blew me away.
