Lisa is an singer/songwriter and musician from Montreal, Canada. Today I’ll be reviewing her single ‘Primitive Us’ which was released March 22nd 2019.
‘Primitive Us’ opens slow, Lisa’s deep and melodic voice carrying us forward, the light percussion supporting her perfectly, and even as the song builds, and the instrumentals grow, you never lose the thread of her voice, which flows through the song, that to me has a distinctly dreamy quality to it. I really enjoyed this track, I listened to it about a half dozen times when I sat down to review it and each time I was just swept away in the ebb of the music.
