The Churchhill Garden is a musicial project from Switzerland based musician Andy Jossi. He’s also behind The Blue Herons, another musical project. I’ve reviewed both several times on the site, and you can click here for more on The Churchhill Garden, and here for more on The Blue Herons. Today, though, I’ll be reviewing their track ‘Noise (ft. Krissy Vanderwoude) which was released January 17th 2019.
‘Noise (ft. Krissy Vanderwoude)’ opens on a building feedback noise, with light percussion, and as the feedback builds to a point, the drums become more fleshed out and prominent. I like the counterpoint of Krissy’s beautiful voice and vocals against the slightly discordant, almost harsh background noise, it really works well and makes for a uniquely appealing track, perhaps my favourite of all the tracks I have reviewed so far by this artist/project.
So that’s what I thought of The Churchhill Garden’s single ‘Noise (ft. Krissy Vanderwoude)’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then head on over to Spotify. Make sure and support the project by following them on Facebook and Twitter or by visiting their website.
